Arrival Info


We hope that you are getting excited for your upcoming trip!

📍  The property address, turn-by-turn directions, & your unique key code have been sent via email or platform inbox (Airbnb/VRBO/Booking).  Please let me know if you need that resent.  I recommend printing or taking a screenshot of the directions in case you lose your cellular signal.  


🔑   Check-in is after 4pm & check-out is by 11am.

If you get into the area early,  I recommend enjoying the area attractions as you wait.  Check out our favorite area activities here.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦   Please remember that our max occupancy applies at all times.  We do not allow parties or events over our max head count.  Need to double-check your cabin's occupancy?  View all cabins here.

🐕   Pets must be pre-approved, pet policies agreed upon & pet fee paid before arrival.

🔥   To turn on the gas fireplace just use the timer on the wall.  

To troubleshoot the fireplace, watch this video.

❌   Please do not put any wood, twigs, leaves, etc in the gas-burning fireplaces & please do not move the logs as this can melt the electrical components or cause ventilation issues that are a health hazard. 😳  Please only burn firewood in the outdoor firepits.

🪵   Firewood is sold locally for approximately $7/bundle at easy stops including Wal-Mart, Pruett's Grocery, Hooker’s Bait Shack, EZ Mart, the Dollar Store, or Hochatime Gift Shop.  Should you like firewood delivered before your stay, just let me know and I will be happy to arrange the delivery of 1/2 rick to the cabin for $105.  Payment link below.

💦 Hot tubs are drained & sanitized after each reservation.  However, the tubs do not have inline chlorination systems.  Therefore, we must add chlorine manually.  The hot tub will be ready for use, but please add 1 tbsp of chlorine (provided to you under the kitchen sink or on the outdoor fireplace mantle) after each day of use to keep the water sparkling, fresh, & ready for your next soak.  The hot tub jets automatically come on once per hour to keep the water filtered and temp up.  This is normal, so no worries!

🧻  All cabins are on septic systems.  Please only flush toilet paper in the toilets, and minimize the food put down the sink.  Most cabins do not have garbage disposals because we are on septic systems, so please dispose of food waste in the trash.  Thank you for your cooperation!

🚪  Lastly, we are nestled in the woods which means we are cohabiting with nature.  If you could please help us by keeping the exterior doors closed so that you will not be bothered by flying insects inside the cabin. Watch for wildlife when playing outside, whether at the cabin or out and about.  We want you to have a safe & enjoyable trip!

We love our furry friends & some (but not all) cabins allow pets upon agreeing to these policies:


1.  Up to 2 dogs allowed at pet-friendly cabins,

(Check if your cabin is pet-friendly HERE)

2.  Dogs must be pre-registered & $150 pet fee paid,

3.  Dogs must be housebroken,

4.  Dogs may not be left alone in the cabin, unless kennelled, 

5.  Dogs may not be on furniture or bedding.  (If your pups are allowed on the furniture or bedding at home, please bring blankets / sheets to put under them to prevent damage or excessive cleaning),

6.  Please bag up & properly dispose of pet waste.  An additional fee could be incurred if pet waste is left behind,

7.  Damages are the responsibility of the guest.

*** Emotional Support Animals are not covered under the disability act, and are subject to our normal pet fee & policies.

When available, guests may be able to extend their stay up to 1/2 day for an additional fee.
